I've been heavily invested in credit card points, travel credit cards, credit card rewards and the whole industry for over a decade. I sign up for 2 to 4 credit cards every single year just for the credit card sign up bonuses. This one is the king of all kings. Besides the over $1,500 in measurable cashback bonuses, it also boasts 2% back on all purchases anywhere in the world.

There are multiple benefits to having this card forever, but let's focus on what you can get the first year whether you keep the card or not.
